This wedding was one for the books. It
rained, poured the night before, and was actually scheduled to rain on the day of. That is always a little nerve-wracking when you’ve planned an outdoor wedding. Thankfully, the rain stayed away and we had a beautiful, albeit humid, day. Maribeth’s family is like my family, so I could not have been more excited to capture their special day. There were so many details that made the day truly theirs. One of my favorites had to have been their guestbook. They asked their guests to sign the board for the game Ticket to Ride. What a perfect analogy for the start of your marriage!
The day had everything, an incredible best man speech, beautiful words of wisdom from the bride’s father, a messy cake cutting and the most *amazing* first dance I have ever seen (truly! does someone have that any video?!) There was the perfect combination of both laughter and tears.
Take a minute to scroll through some of my favorite images to re-live their day. Have any advice or well wishes for the new Mr. & Mrs.? Leave it in the comments below!
Maribeth + Sam, thank you for allowing me to capture this day for you. I wish you both nothing but love and happiness as you begin the next chapter of your lives.
