Workshop with Sarah-Beth Photography

I’m so excited about this post, I can hardly handle it! This past weekend I was fortunate enough to attend a workshop with one of the *best* family photographers around, Sarah Hill of Sarah-Beth Photography. If you haven’t seen her work before, be sure to check it out. It’s stunning. There were also 4 other amazing photographers there that I was able to chat with and learn from. When you find people in this industry who are both talented and kind, it’s a beautiful thing. The workshop was located in Charlotte and hosted by none other than Ash Stamper of Laynie & Belle. She is also the mastermind behind the best skin care line ever, The Oily Lady!

We spent part of the day learning about posing, client interaction, branding, editing, all things business related. Sarah was an open book and is so honest which was so refreshing. In the evening, we were able to put it all together and had a session with an incredible model family. It was raining and storming most of the day, so we were all so relieved when the skies cleared up for the session.

I’ve posted some of my favorite images from the day below. There were just so many, it was hard to choose!

I’ve been following Sarah for awhile now, and she is just as fun, sweet and kind as I expected. If you ever have the opportunity to attend a workshop with her, I would say to do whatever you can to make it work, you won’t regret it.

Sarah, I will be forever grateful to you for everything you taught and showed us. Thank you for being such an amazing example of a person, business owner and photographer in this crazy business of ours.

xoxo,
Laura
